Austin School of Film’s Digital Video Certificate Program (DVCP) provides students ages 18+ an affordable pathway into creative media industries. From creating their own films, cultivating media skills, and working in the vast world of digital media and film.
We specialize in educational programming that reflects the latest in a diverse landscape of rapidly changing film & video industries— we're here to help you get where you want to be.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Our DVCP courses offer hands-on education in production management, film production, and post-production with classes dedicated to technical training in areas such as: camera, lighting, sound recording, audio post-production, editing, design, animation, and motion graphics.
Classes run year-round and you can sign up for the certificate at any time. Schedules are customizable and flexible with the ability to create payment plans for any courses.
There is no application process as we believe in providing accessible and equitable pathways for all levels of students. However, we do strongly recommend signing up for a free consult before signing up to ensure the program goals align with your own.
Our program is designed to provide you the foundation needed to work with individual clients, independent production, or businesses, and help aide in developing your reel to attract future creative contracts.
Though the focus of the program is acquisition of technical skills, our DVCP students are given the flexibility to choose electives that either add extra depth to their creative experience, or augment their growing technical skill set for a competitive edge.
