ASoF 2010 Artist Salon and Screening Series Presents:
INDIE PRODUCER'S WORKSHOP WITH LAUREN MOEWS

Join us for a chat with Lauren on Tuesday, February 16th @ 7:00pm.
As a part of ASoF's Artist Salon & Screening Series, we are excited to bring independent film producer, Lauren Moews Vilchik, back for a return engagement. Her last visit was extremely well received and everyone left with a wealth of knowledge on what it means to produce a feature film. If you missed out on the last one, this is your chance to meet and speak to a successful producer. Seating is limited so please RSVP to gretchen@austinfilmschool.org.
About Lauren Moews Vilchik
At the helm of Tonic Films Lauren Moews Vilchik has produced ten feature films in the last seven years, including the venerated horror hit Cabin Fever, which was nominated for a 2004 Saturn Award for Best Horror Film, and the critically acclaimed dramatic horror/thriller Borderland, which was part of After Dark’s Horror Fest 2007. Ms. Vilchik was nominated for the 2004 Independent Spirit Awards’ Producer’s Award for “Outstanding Achievement for a Body of Work” and honored with the distinction of being named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Producers to Watch,” which was announced at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.
Thanks to all of you that attended our Artist Salon & Screening Series with special guest Lauren Moews Vilchik!
Lauren answering questions during the workshop
ASoF also want to extend our thanks to Chris Adams and Bob Hudgins, who joined Lauren for an "Educating the Investor" Dinner. With the help of these three guest speakers, we were able to explain the nuts and bolts of what it means to invest in a Texas feature film.
