"Cattywampus" by Jeanne Stern
Learn the art of animation from professional animator Jeanne Stern, who has created work for films, the internet, television, and education. Some of Jeanne's short films, including "Zut-Alors," "Sprout," and "Piano Mouths," have shown at SXSW, the Smithsonian, the Orlando Museum of Art, PBS, the Providence Children's Museum, and Heather Henson's Handmade Puppet Dreams. Jeanne earned her MFA in Film at the University of Texas at Austin. You can see Jeanne's work at her website: jeannestern.com.
This introductory class in animation will cover the 12 principles of animation and utilize these principles in a variety of animation exercises. Each student will create an animation short film using traditional hand drawn techniques and FLASH. No prior animation experience required. All finished projects will be screened at our annual Loud & Clear Film Festival!

You can register your child for an all-day camp (two classes in the same session, 9am - 4:30pm) or for two summer camp classes in different sessions. You have the flexibility to chose whatever classes fit into your summer plans! Also, ASoF will provide lunch for students that take the all-day camp. Check out all the summer camp classes!

*No Refunds for SUMMER CAMP.
*Cancellations received at least 10 calendar days before the start date of the SPRING/FALL class shall receive 100% refund.
*Cancellations received at least 7 calendar days before the start date of the class shall receive 50% refund.
*Cancellations received fewer than 7 days before the class shall not be credited or refunded.
*No refunds for Apple Certification Exams.
