“If you don’t have a Voice no one will Hear” – George Lopez, comedian and late night Talk show host.

Attention students between the ages of 10-16. Write, shoot, and edit a short film in Spanish! Cine Joven is an introductory course that provides hands-on exercises in composition, camera movement, storyboarding, image, sound development and editing instruction in Final Cut Pro.

Each student will produce their own short film. Since Spanish-language programming is the fastest growing media market in the Unites States, this program provides invaluable production experience as well as a product for students to use as they pursue their future careers. Students will be guided by Humberto Perez, Connally High School Media Instructor.

Sponsorships and grants cover most or all tuition costs for eligible students. Everyone will have the opportunity to participate in this class, but sign up fast! Spots are limited. For more information, please call Monica at 512-236-8877 or email at monica@austinfilmschool.org

 “Si no tienes Voz, nadie te escuchará” – George Lopez, comediante y estrella de televisión.

Atención adolescentes entre las edades de 10 a 16 años. ¡Escribe, dirige, y filma una película en español! Cine Joven es un curso de introduccion que provee práctica directa en composición, cinematografía, implementación de sonido, imagen, y edición usando el programa de Final Cut Pro.

Los estudiantes producirán sus propios cortometrajes. Ya que la filmación en español es la más creciente en el mercado Norteamericano, este programa proveerá una experiencia inestimable en producción para los estudiantes que al mismo tiempo les servirá en la consecución de sus futuras profesiones. Los estudiantes serán dirigidos por el profesor de cine Humberto Pérez.

Fechas: los sabados, 3 de octubre al 12 de diciembre

Las clases se dictarán en Connally High School, 13212 N. Lamar

Cine Joven es patrocinado por fondos privados y de empresas grandes. Por parte de estos fondos, Cine Joven ofrece becas de acuerdo a los ingresos de los estudiantes. Todos tendran la oportunidad de participar en este curso pero deben registrarse imediatamente.
