Put on 3D glasses to view the image better.

Learn from professional animator Jeanne Stern, who has created work for films, the internet, television, and education. Some of Jeanne's short films, including "Zut-Alors," "Sprout," and "Piano Mouths," have shown at SXSW, the Smithsonian, the Orlando Museum of Art, PBS, the Providence Children's Museum, and Heather Henson's Handmade Puppet Dreams. Jeanne earned her MFA in Film at the University of Texas at Austin. You can see Jeanne's work at her website: jeannestern.com.

Learn how to create your own 3D (stereoscopic) images. In this workshop we will create fantastical dioramas using collaged materials. This is your chance to be imaginative: you could make a surreal garden populated with flying rabbits, or a masquerade party of animals wearing people masks. We will then take pairs of photographs (one picture for each eye) and combine them together to create the illusion of depth. Digital camera required (point and shoot are fine).
